Gordon Case and Susan Nelson (Nelson Family Trust) have a long multi-generational history of community service and philanthropy in making a difference with their donations and their involvement. Their passion for building special places is shown by their Clock Tower donation as part of the Haskayne Mercantile Building at Heritage Park, the Atrium (Faculty & Student Gathering Area) at the University of Calgary or the Nelson Marsh (Biodiversity Wetland on 17 Ave SE at TwinHills).

Dustin Nelson has been involved as an active volunteer with the Calgary Stampede since 2009. Starting with the Caravan Committee then moving on to the Chuckwagon Committee and finally currently with the Courtesy Car Committee. He is also an active member of the Health, Safety, and Environmental Committee with the Heritage Park Historical village. Lastly, Dustin is one of the directors of the Western Canada Pond Hockey Championship held yearly in Chestermere Alberta.
